Job Description:
The BCBA/BCaBAmust possess a bachelors or masters degree in psychology, child development, special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field. BCBA or BCaBA certification or appropriate licensure as a healthcare professional, in accordance with state regulations, is required.
Reporting directly to the Chief Analyst, the Behavior Analyst is responsible for developing, monitoring, and overseeing ABA treatment plans. This role involves providing direct clinical supervision to behavior technicians, as well as managing and guiding assigned cases. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities are essential for success in this position.

Requirements for BCBAs:
- Ensure quality service by meeting supervisory and parent training hour requirements (varies by funder).
- Provide monthly supervision to behavior technicians (minimum 5% for RBTs).
- Develop, monitor, and update client programs; conduct FBAs as assigned.
- Guide behavior technicians in treatment and behavior plan implementation.
- Supervise, educate parents, and adjust treatment plans based on authorized hours.
- Address client, family, and staff issues promptly, escalating as needed.
- Document clinical time and session notes, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Maintain communication with staff and respond to concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay current with research and best practices, sharing findings with staff.
- Conduct monthly client visits and ensure all oversight and management requirements are met.
- Provide guidance and direction to supervisors and behavior technicians, approve program changes, and offer solutions for implementation issues.
- Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs
- Research literature related to specific learners’ programs
- Conduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment, etc.)
- Be willing and able to supervise others seeking BCBA certification weekly
- Analyze and summarize results of assessments and graphs results as needed
- Write 6-month progress reports to secure insurance funding
- Provide staff and caregiver training
- Create goals for skill generalization
- Create or update the data collection system
- Be available to answer questions from technicians working on learners’ cases
- Answer emails and phone calls from caregivers
- Follow up with the caregivers to ensure the generalization of learner objectives
- Attend monthly clinical team meetings
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of a Master’s or Bachelors degree in psychology, child development, special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field
- Must be BCBA/BCaBA-certified or hold qualified licensed healthcare professional status (based on state regulations)
- Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and leadership skills
- Commitment to upholding the company’s mission and vision to the community
Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Minimum of 2 years developing behavior reduction goals and behavior-analytic skill acquisition plans
- Previous experience as a Behavior Technician and/or Case Supervisor implementing ABA treatment plans
