About the Company


Peachtree Autism Services is seeking a passionate, resourceful BCBA who wants to join our growing clinical team in Dunwoody, Georgia. We have a number of program models including early intervention, early elementary and intensive services. We have a large, custom-designed clinic with multiple classrooms serving children ages 2 to 7 years old to support a blend of naturalistic and structured instruction. We keep our caseloads small (7-8 learners) to ensure quality service delivery. We are a BCBA-owned company and we believe in providing effective and meaningful treatment to learners who are underserved. About the Role


As a BCBA at Peachtree Autism Services, you will oversee a small classroom of learners in our clinic and support ongoing program development of individual treatment plans and classroom-wide systems. BCBAs at Peachtree Autism Services receive training in the field’s most progressive practices, quality mentorship and professional development from experienced BCBA Directors. Opportunities for leadership roles are available within the company.



Responsibilities


  • Oversee a small caseload of learners in our clinic
  • Support a dedicated team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through ongoing supervision and training
  • Integrate the latest research in the field to optimize learning
  • Deliver supportive and dynamic caregiver training
  • Receive support and guidance from our Directors, SLP/BCBA and OT, through ongoing consultation



Qualifications


  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology or Special Education
  • BCBA® certification with approval to supervise



Required Skills


  • Minimum 2-years experience delivering ABA services to children with autism and special needs in a home, school or clinic-based setting
  • Advanced understanding of behavioral principles, single-subject design, functional assessment and function-based treatment
  • Experience with ABA-based assessment including VB-MAPP, PEAK, AFLS, and functional analysis
  • Experience with NET, DTT and Verbal Behavior
  • Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programming based on assessment results
  • Strong desire for on-going training and professional development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and exercise independent judgment
  • Computer skills related to common office tasks and data entry (e.g., MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint)



Preferred Skills


  • Experience working with a wide range of learners (age and skill level) and settings (e.g., school, home, clinic)
  • Experience with practical functional assessment and skill based treatment
  • Experience with the Early Start Denver Model
  • Experience with Essential for Living
  • Experience implementing and training others in crisis management
  • Experience with parent training/home consultation
  • Knowledge of and experience with augmentative and alternative communication
  • Exceptional understanding of the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts©


Pay range and compensation package


  • $77,000 - $87,000 annual base salary with up to $12k annually in performance-based bonuses
