Radiology/MRI Technologist

Shift: 8:30 PM – 6:00 AM, 4 shifts per week
We are working with a leading healthcare organization in Texas seeking a dedicated Radiology/MRI Technologist to join their state-of-the-art facility in Dallas. Key Responsibilities
As a Radiology/MRI Technologist, you will:
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures in compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients and operating areas for procedures by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and calibrating equipment.
- Utilize AIDET communication techniques to ensure patient comfort and establish rapport.
- Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with engineers and physicists.
- Accurately document medical imaging records, requisitions, patient histories, and any necessary precautions.
- Screen individuals entering the department to ensure compliance with approved policies.
- Serve as a preceptor, providing quality training to new team members and supporting new initiatives.

- Proficiency in performing high-quality MRI procedures in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Strong communication skills to explain procedures and reassure patients.
- Ability to work autonomously and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with first aid and emergency response protocols.
- Commitment to maintaining knowledge and skills appropriate for all patient age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, young adults, adults, and geriatrics.
- Demonstrated ability to foster patient satisfaction by minimizing wait times and providing courteous, efficient service.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Certification from one of the following:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI (ARRT-MR) or Radiography (ARRT-R).
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
