Pride Health is hiring an Phlebotomist Floater - 1st Shift to support our client’s medical facility based in Orland Park IL 60462. This is a 3 month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Job Title: Phlebotomist Floater - 1st Shift

Location: Orland Park IL 60462

Duration: 3 Months+

Schedule: Monday-Saturday hours may vary in Central Time Zone., Our earliest PSC opens at 630a.m. and our latest IOP closes at 6p.m., Saturday hours when needed.

Pay Range: $28.00 per hour


Position Overview: We are seeking a Phlebotomist III - Float who will be the face of our company, representing us to patients during their health journeys. This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while ensuring a compassionate and trusting atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:


Draw blood samples skillfully and safely, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established practices.

Provide coverage across multiple locations, adapting to various roles as needed.

Act as a mentor and resource for new employees, offering effective onboarding services.

Collaborate with staff on-site and provide regular input to group leads or supervisors.

Engage with customers, particularly in complex or high-volume practices, demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:


Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in phlebotomy, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

At least 3 years in a Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) environment they were preferred.

Customer service experience in a retail or service setting is preferred.

Keyboard/data entry skills.

Additional Details:


At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.

Pediatric skills are essential for this role.
