Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Engineer:
- Develop and execute inspection and test plans, direct product verification processes, and ensure traceability and robustness in manufacturing methods.
- Lead process improvement projects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Work with Operations, Engineering, and Audit teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on departmental activities, rejected items, and overall quality metrics.
- Understand customer specifications and maintain adherence to quality standards and ethics policies.
Qualifications/Requirements of the Senior Quality Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent experience), 7–10 years in a related field.
- Must have a solid understanding of inspection measurement techniques, GD&T, and drawing interpretation.
- Experience working with Coordinate Measuring Machines, including familiarity with programming.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business correspondence.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD Confidential Clearance.
Work Environment for the Senior Quality Engineer:
- 4-day, 10-hour workweek (40 hours), with overtime as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to move between program locations as necessary.
