Another 10% of the time, you will be exposed to learning in other areas within your assigned division to get more corporate experience. Then, the final 10% will be spent in shared experiences across the organization, where you will get to really learn about our culture and work environment. Work with a team that is responsible for calculating commission for agents and support systems and applications that is used by our agency services team. Work closely with tenured developers to develop skills required for career in Information Technology Gain real world experience related to project work, production support, and technical requirements. Explore different areas of Information Technology by participating in divisional activities. Learn about Farm Bureau Financial Services and the insurance industry by participating in organizational events. Learn about agile methodology by participating in daily stand ups, sprint planning, grooming and retros. What It Takes to Join Our Team: Be a college student pursuing a Management Information Systems, Software Engineering or Computer Science degree. Completion of coding courses that include items such as Java, MVC/Core, Javascript, Database, is preferred. A quick learner who is looking to learn new concepts and ideas. Must have strong verbal & written communication skills and be a team player. Must possess good problem-solving skills. Must be a self-starter, take initiative and be highly motivated. Be dependable and able to work a 38-hour work week during summer 2025.
