SNI Companies is hiring for a ONSITE Contract to Hire Bilingual HR/Payroll Specialist needed for a growing construction company in the Carrollton/Lewisville area. Ideally looking for candidates with 2+ years of experience . SNI Companies does offer benefits and 401K to our candidates while working on consultant opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify employee timekeeping data
- Update and maintain HRIS (new hires, terminations, benefits, and changes) as they affect payroll
- Employment verifications
- Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is complete
- Oversee direct deposit entries and verify accuracy
- Update payroll information for promotions, terminations, and new hires
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax and deduction laws
- Process time records in hh2
- Tracking PTO for all employees
- Maintain garnishment logs and entry of garnishments in Paychex Flex
- Update the OAG when someone with a child support order separates employment
- Participate in open enrollments
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Must have experience in payroll administration
- Must have recent and in-depth knowledge of Paychex systems
- Must have good working knowledge of accounting practices and tax laws
- Must be possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work onsite everyday
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
