Service Specialist (Fire)

Exciting opportunity to join a growing company with the world's largest privately owned security integrator. In this role you would be on the servicing team supporting the fire side of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and programming fire alarm systems
• As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows
• Assist in the testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems
• Assist in the servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programing of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and operational/product manuals
• Present a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times in appearance and behavior

Direct Hire. On customer sites 5 days a week.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 2+ years of installation or programming experience with Fire equipment
• (FAL) Fire Alarm License
• EST (Edwards) experience / Nicet 2 cert
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with MS Office application
• Valid driver's license

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• lenel, genetec experience/certifications
