Senior Network Security Engineer

This is a direct-hire position, and you can telecommute three days a week. Our office is located in the Sandy Springs / Dunwoody area. The excellent work environment includes flex hours, an on-site gym, a game room, and a top-notch restaurant. We have a bonus program and 401k match.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the global network providers to build and enhance our Worldwide Network.
• Build, configure, audit, and revise security policies on firewalls and SASE.
• Increase global security posture through segmentation, creating and documenting processes, leveraging centralized management solutions, and standardizing configuration.
• Communicate and audit our Worldwide Network policies and procedures to remote offices.
• Ensure global switching and routing consistency and troubleshoot where necessary.
• Configure, manage, and administer routers, firewalls, switches, and other IP-based communication equipment.
• Configure failover and disaster recovery plans and ensure full documentation is in place.
• Ensure full network logging and monitoring systems are in place and documented.
• Track and log all activity, both incidents and resolutions, to system users.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5+ years of Network Engineering and Security
• SME in Cisco routers and switches including Cisco Nexus
• Experience with Palo Alto including Palo Alto Prisma or Cloud NGFW (prefer both)
• Excellent communication skills
