Job Description

Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in network security, computer science, or information systems/technology management, institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Microsoft Azure Associate OR Expert Certifications:
• Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator
• Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Admin
• Microsoft 365 Certified Azure Ai
• Microsoft 365 Certified Azure Administrator
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator
• Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Admin
• Microsoft Certified Security Operations
• Microsoft Cloud Support Certification
Required skills:
• Experienced in enterprise Microsoft azure / entra administration (m365, azure ad)
• Experienced with architect office/Microsoft 365 service environments
• Experienced in deployment of Microsoft cloud infrastructure technologies
• Experienced with Microsoft entra
• Experienced in Microsoft purview compliance, security, and search & intelligence
• Experienced in Microsoft defender atp and defender identity
• Experienced in Microsoft Intune
• Experienced in power apps, power platform, and dynamics 365 apps
• Experienced in PowerBi
• Experienced with routine network maintenance in various Microsoft environments
• Experienced in o365 exchange
• Skilled with office configuration
• Skilled with SharePoint, stream, and teams

Daily duties / responsibilities:
• Works under limited supervision in the administration, planning, implementation, maintenance, lifecycle management, security monitoring, and support of agency's Microsoft 365/entra cloud services
• Strong understanding and/or experience with azure ad and enterprise mobility + security (ems) to include azure information protection, defender for identity, defender for office, defender for endpoint
• Configure and deploy Microsoft azure ad environments
• Configure And Deploy Advanced Microsoft 365/Office Services Including Enterprise and Mobility
• Microsoft 365 analysis of enterprise systems and business needs, as required, and leads in the implementation of m365 services to meet and enhance those needs
• Monitor Microsoft cloud environment for security and performance needs for information event logs, risks alerts, analysis, outages, and perform routine security practices as needed
• Monitors And Updates M365 Systems with Security Controls
• Participates in the administration, planning, installation, maintenance, security monitoring and support of the agency's Microsoft technologies to protect business data, Services, and devices
• Maintenance Of Hybrid M365 And Azure Ad Environments Including Group Policies
• Maximize m365 security controls using industry best practices
• Supports And Adheres to Change Management Process
• Awareness of security-based changes processes, i.e. Documentation, deployment strategies, and change log reviews
• Identifies risks and communicates risks to the CIO and it teams
• Develops technical documentation following agency policies; CJIS security guidance; state security standards
