Job Summary:
The Program Manager will oversee the delivery of technology solutions to achieve targeted business outcomes. Reporting to the IT Director - Project and Portfolio Management, this role will partner with Product Directors and stakeholders to define program strategies, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless execution. The Program Manager will also guide Delivery Managers and ensure alignment across multiple teams and business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Leadership (35%)
- Define and maintain program objectives, scope, and success metrics.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to staff projects and align deliverables with business needs.
- Establish governance structures, coach team members, and foster collaboration.
- Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
Program Planning & Execution (45%)
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver creative, technology-driven solutions.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and issues across projects.
- Develop and track program plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Remove impediments and ensure optimal team performance.
Program Governance (15%)
- Facilitate governance and escalation processes.
- Manage program budgets and analyze variances.
- Monitor program burn rates and recommend corrective actions.
Other Responsibilities (5%)
- Support additional tasks as required.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Proven leadership in matrix organizations managing large programs (8–10 teams).
- Expertise in manufacturing processes (Order Entry, Shipments, Warehouse Management, etc.).
- Strong experience with system integrations, especially SAP and ERP rollouts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of project and portfolio management best practices.
- Significant experience in C-Suite communications and organizational change management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of IT and business experience, including 10+ years managing complex programs.
- Project Management certification or equivalent training.
Technical Competencies:
- Expertise in hybrid project management methodologies.
- Advanced skills in budgeting, resource planning, and stakeholder management.
- Strong strategic thinking and mentorship abilities.
