Responsibilities

• · Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enhance data quality across systems.
• · Participate in, and provide insights during, strategic discussions on data sourcing of various systems; presenting the findings to business/ relevant group
• · Support requirements analysis and preparation of Data mapping documents.
• · Preparing and communicating recommendations and status reports for senior leaders on regulatory projects.
• · Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify gaps, discrepancies, and improvement areas. Validate data to summarize issues, recommend solutions, and resolve data-related problems promptly; analyze data discrepancy and provide solution. (Prepare FRD, BRD for development team; validate UAT results and identify issue; analyze regulatory reports like CCAR, FDIC and Basel.)
• · Support data validation between container to create summary, analyze and help to identify issues
• · Ensure consistency and accuracy of data between different systems and sources; and track the origin and movement of data across various systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Required Skills

• · 8-10 years in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles within financial services. Banking experience preferred.
• · Strong banking domain knowledge including products Loan, Card, Mortgage, Corporate loans, OTC, derivatives is plus
• · Understanding of Risk and Compliance and ability to work with trade and position level data.
• · Proficient in, and strong with SQL, with ability to investigate, handle business and data analysis, query data in SQL, and tell a compelling story about the issue or project in question.
• · Advanced Excel skills (Python experience is a plus)
• · Big data – Hadoop, Hive, Spark will be plus
