Job Description:

10+ years of experience and Have Experience in Postgre SQL and DBA

1.Database Design and Architecture

Design and develop database systems based on organizational requirements.

Certify and standardize database infrastructure

Architect scalable, efficient, and secure database solutions.

Design Storage architecture for database systems.

Design network architecture for database systems.

Integrate monitoring/alerting solution for centralized or decentralized support

2.Security Management

Manage access controls, encryption, and other security protocols.

System Hardening as per ASPR

3.Backup, Recovery, and High-Availability

Develop and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies.

Ensure data recovery processes are effective and tested regularly.

4.Disaster Recovery Planning

Create and maintain disaster recovery plans for database systems.

5.Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution

Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly.

Collaborate with other IT staff to troubleshoot and fix problems.

6.Automation and Scripting

Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine database tasks.

Use automation tools to streamline database management processes.

7.Capacity Planning

Monitor database storage and plan for future growth.

Ensure that database infrastructure can scale to meet increasing demands.

8.Documentation

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

Develop and maintain procedures, policies, and standards

9.Compliance and Auditing

Ensure database systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and security measures.

Manage TSS Activities (Product life cycle)

10.Collaboration and Support

Provide support and training to users and other IT staff on database-related issues.

11.Project Management

Lead and manage database-related projects from initiation to completion.

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

12.Research and Development

Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends.

Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve database systems.

13.Quality Assurance

Conduct regular testing and validation of database systems.

14.User Training and Support

Provide training and support to users on how to effectively use database applications.

Develop user guides and training materials.

15. Data Migration

Plan and execute data migration projects for application upgrades or platform changes.
