Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud-native solutions, particularly with Kubernetes and OpenStack technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and OpenStack environments to ensure scalability, high availability, and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Optimize resource usage and improve system reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Implement security best practices for containerized applications and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistency across environments.
- Support production environments and address issues related to scaling, performance, and availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure the availability of critical systems.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of OpenStack architecture and its components.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex system and network issues.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
