The Project Leader plays a critical role in managing and facilitating the project process, working closely with the Senior Designer to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with City Collective’s high standards. This role emphasizes proactive management, effective communication, and the ability to anticipate needs and guide teams toward success. 


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Planning, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Proven experience in project management within architecture or design practices. 
  • Strong financial and scheduling acumen, with the ability to align efforts to meet project goals. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing client and collaborator relationships. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Office, Slack, Miro, etc.). 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Client and Consultant Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and collaborators, responding promptly and independently to inquiries. 
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges and implement solutions to maintain project momentum. 
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Senior Designer to balance design intent with project constraints, ensuring a cohesive workflow. 
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of project progress, decisions, and communications. 
  • Leadership: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, mentoring team members and encouraging professional growth. 
  • Budget Management: Maintain awareness of project budgets and take proactive steps to align efforts with financial goals. 
  • Schedule Management: Develop, oversee, and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines without compromising quality. 
  • Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources and assign tasks to ensure efficient execution.
