The role involves overseeing and maintaining network systems and associated technologies to ensure high-level connectivity and performance within the organization. This includes addressing intricate network challenges, spearheading network-related initiatives, and serving as an expert in-house resource for specific technical domains. A key focus of this position is on modern network solutions, including SD-WAN and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on leveraging automation for efficiency. The individual will also provide guidance and share expertise, while participating in a scheduled rotation for critical system support.

Key Functions:

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues involving connectivity and system efficiency.
• Assisting with user-related network challenges.
• Directing infrastructure improvement efforts, such as system upgrades or replacements.
• Implementing scalable connectivity solutions for distributed office environments.
• Supporting cloud network integration, utilizing tools for automated infrastructure management.
• Streamlining processes and configurations through task automation.
• Developing scripts and enhancing workflows for operational efficiency.
• Acting as a primary technical resource for networking technologies.
• Collaborating with various technical and security teams across the organization.
• Identifying improvement opportunities and suggesting innovative approaches.
• Periodically traveling to organizational sites for hands-on support.
• Providing on-demand technical assistance as part of an established rotation.

Qualifications:

• Educational background with at minimum a bachelor's is required.
• Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista, or other networking certifications are highly desirable
• Advanced certifications in networking are advantageous. (Cisco/CompTIA/etc.)
• Experience with AWS Cloud Networking, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure automation for code management
• Experience analyzing network data with diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency in managing security-focused hardware and dynamic protocols.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation, including modern scripting languages and configuration tools.
• Practical use of service and workflow management platforms for enhanced operations.
