The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client looking for a Human Resources Business Partner in the Kansas City Area.
This role will cover multi-site HR support including 50% travel to plants within 3 hours driving and 1 plant within flying distance to east coast. This role's expectations will be to travel minimum 2 weeks every month and then be remote for the rest. This role must be based in the Kansas City area!
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee key components of the HR department: payroll processing, benefits administration, vendor management, full cycle recruiting, and general performance management documentation
- Manage the payroll processing within the organization and strategize ways to bring it all in-house and improve the process
- Manage the Benefit/Vendor program at the organization; helping with day-to-day benefit issues, escalating employee concerns, and work to find ways to improve benefits for the well-being of the employee base
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all hourly employees including helping to develop an applicant tracking system and help company reach goals of growth
- Coordinate with and support management on performance management objectives
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of Human Resources Experience in manufacturing
- Heavy experience in payroll processing, benefit administration, talent acquisition/recruiting, and have a strong understanding of day-to-day HR duties
