EHS Manager

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Johnson County, KS within the manufacturing industry.

EHS Manager Job Summary:

· $85,000 - $100,000 annual salary

· 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

· Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal OSHA rules and regulations. Prepares annual OSHA 300 log.

· Develops monthly training plan for supervisor's employee safety meetings.

· Prepares monthly safety reports for management review.

· Inspects plant facility to detect existing or potential accident or health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures and follows up with appropriate department personnel to ensure compliance.

· Assists in the preparation of material and evidence for company use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.

EHS Manager Qualifications:

· Proficient use of Word/Excel.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.

· Ability to communicate effectively and possessing good interpersonal skills.

· Undergraduate degree in Safety/Health/Environmental discipline preferred.

· 5 years of experience in an industrial safety environment.

· MSDS maintenance.
