Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a CNC Mill Operator in partnership with a prominent client in Hilcrest and Endicott, NY areas. Experience in set-up from blueprints is preferred. Must have at least 2 years of CNC operation experience. Summary Shifts: 1 st / 2 nd Salary: $18-$25 per hour based on experience. CNC Milling Operator Job Duties Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine proper cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates. Secure workpieces on the milling machine table using appropriate clamping methods. Mount and align cutting tools on the milling spindle. Monitor machine functions, such as cutting depth, feed rate, and coolant flow, to ensure quality and prevent damage. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and optimal cutting conditions. Regularly inspect workpieces using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of the milling machine.
