Job Title: Calibration Technicians
Location: Chatsworth
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours, Day shift
Compensation: $30-60 (DOE)

Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced Calibration Technicians in Electrical, RF, Fume Hood/ Safety Cabinets, Physical/Dimensional, and Hand Tool Repair and Calibration. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments, requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
Technician Specialties:
RF Calibration: Calibrate RF/Microwaves up to 50GHz, including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and more.
Electrical Calibration: Calibrate instruments like Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Hipot Tester, Frequency Counters, Power Supplies, and more.
Fume Hood/ Safety Cabinets Calibration: Calibrate equipment like Anemometers, Smoke Generators, Pressure Gauges, and more.
Physical/Dimensional Calibration: Calibrate Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Gauge blocks, Optical Comparators, Surface roughness testers, Thread gauges, and more.
Hand Tool Repair/ Calibration: Repair and Calibration hand tools like Torque Wrenches, Micrometers, Calipers, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate primary, secondary, and/or working calibration standards across respective disciplines.
- Assist technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment.
- Identify and correct measurement errors as applicable.
- Prepare comprehensive calibration reports and certificates for documentation purposes.
- Report on activities and obstacles to upper management as needed.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary to support the calibration process.
All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.
Requirements and Skills:
- Calibration training is required; Military PMEL/TMDE preferred.
- Experience in calibration and working with precision measurement equipment
- Working under ISO 17025 strongly preferred
- Local travel may be required to perform on-site calibration at the customer facility
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
