Calibration Lab Technician
ROLE
We need an experienced Calibration Lab Technician at the Marine Corps Public Health Center (NMCPHC). NMCPHC provides leadership and expertise to ensure mission readiness in support of the National Military Strategy. NMCPHC’s core scientific and technical capabilities and product lines are to conduct Health Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Analysis; Disease and Injury Prevention; and PH Consultation and Support for the benefit of active-duty service members, retirees, and their families. In this role, you will assist command with processing and handling laboratory equipment and materials shipments. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process shipments of audiometry equipment and other supplies within the OEM department
- Coordinate with NMCPHC Equipment Manager to ensure inventory list(s) remain current and accurate
- Support annual equipment inventory audit
- Support routine OEM department consumable supply inventory
- Request and process quotes for the calibration of test standards
- Work with the NMCPHC Records Management Coordinator to maintain OEM File Plan
- Process incoming work orders and enter data into appropriate database tracking
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience processing and handling shipments of laboratory equipment and materials
- Experience maintaining and auditing inventories of laboratory equipment
- Experience with laboratory data entry processes and procedures
- Experience working with MS Office suite (Excel, Access, Word)
- Experience utilizing MS SharePoint
