About the Role:
As a key member of the chemistry team, you’ll play a vital role in advancing an exciting development pipeline. Reporting directly to the Head of Chemistry, you’ll help design and implement innovative approaches to solve complex challenges in small molecule synthesis and process optimization, supporting the scale-up of life-changing therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop innovative approaches for small molecule synthesis and process optimization.
- Collaborate with a tight-knit and highly motivated chemistry team to address the challenges of drug development.
- Design, execute, and oversee experiments to solve complex synthetic chemistry challenges.
- Contribute to scaling processes for early-phase drug candidates to prepare for clinical development.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of industry experience, with a focus on small molecule synthesis and process chemistry.
- A strong track record in process optimization and scale-up activities.
- Experience in biotech is a plus but not required.
- A collaborative mindset and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
