The Industrial Recruiter plays a key role in delivering non-exempt staffing solutions to HTI’s diverse client base. This position oversees the entire hourly staffing process, ensuring efficient and high-quality recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of candidates aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities.
Recruitment & Candidate Management
- Manage end-to-end recruiting activities for all HTI clients, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Screen applicants against client and HTI requirements, scheduling qualified candidates for orientation.
- Recruit and maintain a robust candidate pipeline, including individuals who have successfully completed testing, reference checks, and background checks.
- Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to enhance candidate sourcing.
Process & Client Coordination
- Adhere to client-specific process flows for staffing and achieve time-to-fill goals.
- Attend job fairs and represent HTI and its clients to promote open positions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for applicants, conducting instant interviews and triaging based on needs.
- Utilize and maintain the Bullhorn system to track applicants and maximize recruitment efficiency.
Team Collaboration & Problem Solving
- Participate in daily management meetings to address critical openings and discuss time-to-fill metrics.
- Support onsite client operations by troubleshooting staffing challenges and proposing solutions.
- Assist Onboarding Coordinators and other team members as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
Administrative Duties
- Update applicant files, maintain working records, and manage candidate availability using Bullhorn.
- Answer calls, process online applications, and manage front desk interactions.
- Perform additional administrative tasks to support the team as needed.
- Ensure all employee files are complete and compliant with HTI standards..
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
- 1+ year of recruiting experience preferred.
- Familiarity with HR processes or prior HR experience is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Internet proficiency and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Bullhorn experience preferred).
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Abilities:
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to client-specific needs.
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) designation is a plus.
