This role will be responsible for managing all food production and packaging operations, as well as supporting all aspects of the plant's operations, including data entry, planning, production, packaging, quality, and employee health and safety. This position maintains overall supervision of employees in all areas of the plant, which is roughly around 100 people. We are ideally looking for a strong Director that has managed manufacturing facilities with strong safety programs and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages personnel in areas of data entry, planning and production.
• Aligns activities to assess production metrics in the development of operational plans and continuous improvement activities.
• Partners with leadership on continuous improvement activities in areas of employee health & safety, quality & food safety, and productivity.
• Oversees the planning function to ensure alignment with the corporate demand plan and local production schedules.
• Facilitates efficient generation of production schedules for timely delivery of customer orders.
• Efficiently balances the production plan and manufacturing costs
• Completes safety system documentation and verifies compliance to program standards. Reports deviations to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager
• Completes quality and food safety system documentation and verifies compliance to program standards. Reports deviations to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager

Job Requirements:

• Plant Management experience in a Food or Beverage Manufacturing facility (also open to general manufacturing with safety programs and regulations)
• Extensive experience managing large production teams (minimum of 7 years of experience)
• Bachelors Degree preferred and/or Associates Degree and/or equivalent related experience in manufacturing
