Overview:
The Innovation Lab at ELS develops cutting-edge solutions that drive growth, enhance the customer experience, and open new opportunities within the RV Resort, Marina, and Manufactured Housing industries. As the Innovation Project Manager , you will play a pivotal role in bringing innovative ideas to life by assisting with the ideation, incubation, and execution of projects within the lab. You will be responsible for coordinating and driving projects forward, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while aligning with business goals.
The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and operations teams, ensuring seamless communication, efficient delivery, and continuous learning about emerging technologies that could impact the business.
Your job will include:
- Assist in the ideation and incubation of new projects within the Innovation Lab, helping to nurture ideas from early-stage concepts to scalable solutions.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones for innovation initiatives.
- Provide consistent and clear project communications to stakeholders.
- Coordinate the rollout of new technologies and training initiatives for team members and property operations.
- Drive projects forward, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with overall objectives.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and potential roadblocks.
- Proactively identify, understand, and track potential obstacles to project success.
- Anticipate questions and needs, providing quick, effective solutions to keep projects moving.
- Stay current on the latest technology trends and innovations, contributing insights into how new technologies could enhance the customer experience and business processes.
- Participate in evaluating new technologies, creating recommendations, and deciding which innovations to incubate.

Skills & experience you need:
- Bachelor’s degree, with at least one year of project management experience. Experience in hospitality, multi-family, office, or industrial real estate is a plus. Engineering degree is a plus, particularly if you have experience with technology-driven projects or product development.
- Proven interest in technology innovation, with prior experience in a start-up or innovation-focused environment highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented with a track record of successfully managing multiple, complex projects.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and other relevant technologies.
- Quick learner and self-starter with a willingness to travel and a keen interest in the continuous improvement of the customer experience through innovation.
