Job Title: Recruiter I

Location: Evansville, IN

End-Client: Large Oil & Gas Company

Pay: $27 - $33.23/hr.

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits (401K, Health, Dental, and Vision) through Icon Consultants are available)

Length of Assignment: 12 – months possible to extend


Role Synopsis


The Talent Acquisition Advisor reports to the P & C Division Field Lead and is responsible for meeting the staffing needs of the store team members (management and GSRs) through sourcing, screening, and interview applicants for open positions. Responsibilities also include researching and maintaining viable recruiting resources, developing relationships in the community, and understanding staffing needs of each location to ensure the best applicants are hired.


Key Accountabilities

  • with hiring managers to effectively and efficiently fill open positions.
  • recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, internet sites, media, etc.
  • and utilize various ways to find qualified applicants.
  • applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements based upon a consistent set of qualifications.
  • OFCCP compliance by ensuring established guidelines and processes are followed.
  • management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • store operations leadership by making hiring recommendations as needed.
  • Stay Interviews for new stores and stores of concern.
  • weekly/monthly Division & Ops calls and complete weekly/ monthly reporting as required.
  • the organizations Core Values in how they work and interact with others.
  • additional duties as assigned.


Essential Education:

Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.


Essential Experience and Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience


Equipment/Special Expertise:

  • in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • or PHR Certification preferred but not required.
