Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description:

Summary:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager in Paterson, NJ. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team of 25 (comprising both union and non-union staff), optimize processes, ensure operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role also requires close collaboration with various departments to enhance overall operational performance.

Qualifications:

Experience managing warehouse and/or production staff of 25+

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or chemical distribution

Expertise in quality and regulatory systems implementation and management

Residence within 30 minutes of Paterson, NJ

Familiarity with barcoding and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Experience in inventory management and supply chain operations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and operational software

Analytical skills for data-driven strategic decision-making

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

Experience in chemical production, warehousing, or hazardous materials storage and handling is a plus
