Fashion Accessories brand is currently seeking a Merchandise Allocator to join their team in City of Industry/ LA area
This role will be a member within the Allocation Department. The Merchandise Allocator will be tasked with facilitating the allocation and replenishment of a specific product category to all stores, using standard processes to maintain optimum stock levels at the distribution center and the retail stores. The Allocator should be energetic, organized, determined and overall, fashionable!
Job responsibilities:
•Execute merchandise allocations for multiple Retailers across the country , analyze weekly sales reports and market trends, store inventory levels, demographics, sell through rates , buying quantities and more.
• Analyze product sales and opportunities on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Collaborate with design and production partners on product selling, assortment opportunities and market trends
• Partner with visual department for all merchandising displays for stores and fixture opportunities.
• Daily and Weekly replenishment to support sales.
• Update and manage OTB by category.
• Requirements:
• 3 + years of retail planning, allocation or buying experience
• 4-year (Bachelors) degree or FIDM degree
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills/proficiency in Excel
• Ability to adapt to highly entrepreneurial environment and react to change quickly
Starting at 30/hr + DOE
*Note onsite in-house fulltime contract 40hrs/ week , open ended contract could be Temp to Hire for right person.
