Our client manufactures and distributes components through its subsidiaries called. They simplify sourcing for the electrical and electronics industries and serve over 80 percent of the Fortune 500 companies while exporting to over 80 countries. They are looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager who will join our leadership team. This exciting opportunity will have a keen focus on new business development to lead our growth efforts in the electrical components manufacturing industry. As a key leader in our small but rapidly expanding company, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, specifically targeting high-potential clients while leveraging our existing relationships with over 80% of Fortune 500 companies. You will develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, with a primary focus on expanding our client base and market presence. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the market, and a proven track record in business development.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Function as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for strategy development and impactful people leadership.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, networking, and business development initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service; manage and maintain existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and prospects.
- Lead the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine marketing materials, sales presentations, and sales processes.
- Utilize Odoo (ERP) to track sales performance, customer interactions, and marketing activities.
- Conduct market research to stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic Sales KPIs that foster growth in key market and product segments.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success leading the Sales & Marketing function, capable of influencing key stakeholders at levels within an organization towards successful outcomes.
- Progressive leadership experience with a people-centric leadership philosophy, capable of impactful coaching and mentorship aimed at unique individual development and job fulfillment.
- Experience working with and leading global teams creating highly collaborative team cultures, experience working with Philippines-based team members strongly preferred.
- Extensive background in electrical component or system sales and experience working with large manufacturers and distributors (Eaton, ABB, etc.).
- Best-in-class client-facing skills; known for delivering excellent client negotiations and customer service.
- Well-adept at operating within a dynamic, fast-paced environment; capable of meeting key deadlines and revenue targets while balancing competing priorities.
- Leverages a data-driven decision-making approach with strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership communication, adept at articulating vision, strategy, and expectations clearly across all organizational levels, while fostering open dialogue and ensuring alignment among diverse teams and stakeholders.
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Base salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
