POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re seeking a local, experienced, full-time assistant account manager to join our team. This full-time position is hybrid from our Charlottesville-based office, and we hope to fill it in early 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account and project management, including strategic planning, managing budgets and project deadlines, reporting, and serving as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Strategy and campaign development for clients across a variety of industries: education, healthcare, consumer products, and more. This includes assigned accounts, as well as working closely with the Hive team to develop strategies and new ideas for Hive’s entire portfolio of clients.
- Social media marketing, including developing campaign strategy and content (captions, photos, graphics, Reels) to support goals, using a scheduling platform to mange content calendars, and creating and managing ad campaigns. Primary platforms include Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Writing in many "voices" for various industries across various mediums – websites, blogs, newsletters, collateral, social media, and more.
- Basic graphic design for digital marketing campaigns using Canva.
- Analyzing and reporting results to clients monthly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Our ideal candidate would have 4+ years of experience working for a creative agency and managing social media accounts/digital marketing campaigns for various clients. Candidate must have extensive knowledge with Facebook and Instagram, including Meta Business Suite. We're also looking for someone with creative ideas, excellent verbal and written communications skills, a strong work ethic, a team mentality, and a positive, energetic attitude. This is a hybrid position, with 50% of time spent in our Charlottesville/Crozet office, and 50% working remotely. This role also requires some in-person, content-development meetings in and around Charlottesville with our area-based clients.
COMPENSATION:
- Salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 (revisited annually)
- A 401(k) plan, which includes a match of 100% of employee contributions up to 4% (after six months of employment)
