Job Title: Account Manager
Department: Sales – BU105
Status: Full Time – Exempt
Reporting To: Sr. Director, Sales and Marketing
Position Purpose:
The Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with current and potential customers. This position is assigned to a territory or specific accounts and is responsible for representing the entire range of products and services that Harland Medical Systems offers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Maintain professional relationships with key customer personal already established
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
- Meet assigned targets for sales volume and objectives within accounts
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of selling experience in medical industry preferred
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong computer skills with competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented, highly organized team player
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter and motivated individual who works independently
Working Conditions and Health & Safety:
- Heated and air-conditioned office environment
- This position requires extensive travel
- Employee is required to use appropriate PPE including, but not limited to, nitrile or latex gloves, lab coat, hair bonnet, shoe covers, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection, face shield, or respiratory mask while working in a lab or manufacturing space
