Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for our next top sales rep to join our growing team! Our Scottsdale office is located near Talking Stick and is one of the fastest-growing sales offices in all of Allstate Benefits. Although we are a Fortune 100 company at Allstate, our office being only 10-12 people makes it feel like a small family and you are able to make a large impact on sales!
The primary focus of this role is to develop relationships with licensed health insurance brokers and agencies. We then sell our group health insurance suite of products through them.
Compensation is a base salary paired with high and uncapped commission. Average sales reps make approximately $180,000 (top reps making substantially more) with a typical first-year expectation of $75,000-$90,000
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job:
- Target and build relationships with licensed health insurance agents/brokers via phone, email, and in-person meetings (some leads provided) to sell Allstate's small group health insurance products
- Provide timely communication to agents on product offerings, network changes, rate changes and plan designs
- Prospect agents, create quotes/proposals, and facilitate the full sales cycle
- Provide selling strategies to agents to earn their business; consult with them on their business opportunities
- Travel throughout the Southwest on relevant sales meetings and seminars (15%+) Travel to Albuquerque, Flagstaff, Tucson, Las Vegas, Reno, Los Angeles, etc
- Actively utilize the internal sales tracking system to record sales calls and proposals
- Obtain/maintain a Life/A&H license in state of residence and any other state that the incumbent conducts business- (PAID FOR BY ALLSTATE)

- Bachelor's Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- 2+ years of sales-related experience preferred, not required
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly- you MUST be able to work in a fast-paced environment- this is a critical skill of this role
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and self-motivation
- Must be able and willing to travel
- Ability to keep confidential information secure
- Variety of computer software knowledge related to job
