The Medical Center Leader of Health Information Management directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

• Associate’s Degree Required or Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required.

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

• RHIT certification Required.

• RHIA certification Preferred.

• Registration with American Health Information Management Association.

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
