Project Manager (PM)

The Project Manager (PM) holds full accountability for their assigned project(s), overseeing safety, quality, cost, schedule, coordination, and overall progress. Acting as the primary point of contact for the owner, the PM may manage one or more projects, depending on contract scope and project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and approve subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Oversee project scheduling and timelines.
• Approve invoices and manage site staff.
• Handle project estimating and budget management.
• Maintain correspondence and negotiate with clients.
• Select, audit, and ensure compliance of M/W/DBE subcontractors.
• Prepare control estimates and conduct job cost reviews.
• Develop and manage change orders and claims.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Monitor projects for adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a full-time, in-person position, requiring work on job sites or at the corporate office.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience managing HVAC/mechanical projects.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical piping systems, including hot water, chilled water, and drain piping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor multiple projects effectively.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, AutoCAD, and/or Procore is a plus.
