• we are looking for a Citrix engineer who is a motivated self-starter that can assist with our virtual desktop infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in supporting both physical and virtual end-user desktop environments through innovative solutions.
• Demonstrates a strong drive to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
• Possesses a keen awareness of emerging technologies that align within our organization.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for streamlining processes adding value and elevating the overall end-user experience.
• This position requires being present at our corporate downtown Chicago office three days per week.
• Essential Job Functions Responsible for the installation maintenance configuration security and integrity of computer operating systems and supporting software
• Will engage in interactive collaboration with personnel at all organizational levels
• Engage with customers by collaborating through phone email messaging and video conferencing for developing innovative ideas.
• Communicate effectively with customers as committed impressing customers with the ability to deliver resolution or status according to that commitment
• Analyze the experiences of a user and implement solutions that consistently improve user experience
• Write scripts using PowerShell to automate tasks and extract information from the infrastructure
• Build VDI images for general use - Build VDI images for specific teams and use cases - Migrate users to new platforms
• Create Documentation for delivery Knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be an adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must keep up to date on current technology trends

Skills and Abilities

Required :

• Experience working with large-scale infrastructure environments
• Basic understanding of scripting using PowerShell - Working knowledge of Windows 10 11
• Basic understanding of Active Directory Group Policy Objects TCP/IP DNS Firewalls etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint Preferred:
• Experience with Windows management tools such as SCCM and Workspace ONE
• Experience with Service NOW incidents and requests - Working knowledge of certificate management process
• Experience with tools such as Director Citrix Studio and Venafi
• Familiarity with SysTrack or other monitoring tools
• Experience - 5 years of Citrix Virtual Apps or Desktop experience -
• Previous experience in a leadership role is a plus
