This position is part of SKBA's IT Shared service but actually functions as a member of the BlueOval SK IT team.


About BlueOval SK:

BlueOval SK is a historic investment between two global companies, Ford Motor Company and SK On, who share the ambitious vision of electrifying the future of mobility. Together, they invested a total of $11.4 billion dollars to form a Joint Venture company called BlueOval SK. By utilizing SK On’s battery technology the company aspires to make the world’s most safe and dependable electric vehicle (EV) batteries for the Ford and Lincoln brands.

The partnership is building three EV battery plants. One plant is located in Stanton, Tennessee at BlueOval City and twin plants will stand in Glendale, Kentucky at BlueOval SK Battery Park.


Role and Responsibilities: (day to day expected job duties) Planning & Strategy (PM/PMO)

• Manage CapEx and OpEx budget

• Obtain quotes from vendors and compare them for the best competitive price

• Process internal approvals, purchase requests, and GR’s

• Create and manage Change Management (CM) with issue logs and data for process improvement

• Serve as a liaison between IT team members, other departments, and external stakeholders for any reports upon request

• Manage and implement stakeholder management plan, including stakeholder communication and requirement matrix and preparation for relevant reports and presentations (upon requests)

• Work closely with and report to IT Project manager to manage, monitor, and report the IT information, related to budget, cost, contract, and audit

• Track, monitor, and report information and data about cost and expense for budget/budget deviations, cost, contract, and audit

• Create and maintain budget management plan and strategy, (e.g. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.)

• Run Reports in ERP and Bi-ON System

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement

• Manage and report assets status (Laptop, mice, keyboards, printers, monitors, i.e.)

• Responsible for hiring plan and interview

• Responsible for DT team-building, learning plan, and

• Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements (skills required to do this job; list at least 3 that are quantifiable):

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, information technology, business administration, or a related discipline.

• 0 to 3 years+ of hands-on work experience in a related field (IT Planning and Business Support and/or PM/PMO)

o Entry: 0 to 1 year hands-on work experience

o Junior: 1 to 5 year hands-on work experience

o Senior: 5+ year hands-on work experience

• Experience with planning and managing IT systems in manufacturing industry and/or PMBOK (PMI).

• Strong insight and skills to improve the process of IT integrated systems and tracking the issues of planning and process of IT systems.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Problem-solving mindset with an ability to collect and adapt to requirements.


Preferred Requirements:

• Project manager training and certification is a plus (preferred CAPM, but not required)

• Korean bilingual preferred but not required

• Preferably within an IT organization or business environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Understand IT systems and functions of modules in manufacturing industry
