Job Description:

• As a Software Development Engineer at the intersection of machine learning and the life sciences, you will participate in improving internal tools for our customers.
• With the help of senior engineers you will work on making our backend systems more testable, secure, operationally sound and scalable.

Basic qualifications:

• BA/BS in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years industry experience as a Software Engineer
• 2+ years of programming experience with Java and Python
• 1+ years of experience in AWS technologies, such as AWS Batch, S3, Athena, Lambda, DynamoDB

Typical Day in the Role

Daily Schedule:

• Work with backend technologies and AWS stack
• Operational Improvements not support.
• Migration to Full continuous delivery.
• Extension – Possibly
• Conversion? - Possibly

Candidate Requirements

Required:

• 3+ years total minimum
• 2+ years industry experience as a Software Engineer
• 2+ years of programming experience with Java and Python
• 1+ years of experience in AWS technologies, such as AWS Batch, S3, Athena, Lambda, DynamoDB

Degree or Certification:

• BA/BS in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience
