Program Manager
Hybrid - 3-4 days a week onsite in Glendale, NYC or Bristol, CT!
Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join the team, based out of Glendale, New York City, or Bristol. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience and have a strong technical knowledge of back-end engineering practices, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs and data security protocols. The Program Manager should have strong leadership and communication skills and be ready to hit the ground running!
Experience of the right candidate:
- Back-End Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of back-end systems, APIs, microservices architecture, and platform management.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related infrastructure.
- API Management: Experience with API gateways, integrations, and lifecycle management.
- Platform Scalability: Knowledge of designing and managing scalable, high-availability systems.
- Data Security and Compliance: Understanding of security protocols, data protection (GDPR, CCPA), and compliance standards.
- Agile Methodologies: Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, managing sprints, and product backlogs.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Expertise in managing end-to-end project lifecycles from planning to deployment.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Ability to coordinate between engineering, product, design, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks.
- Stakeholder Management: Skill in communicating with stakeholders, presenting updates, and managing expectations.
- Roadmap Development: Experience in developing and maintaining technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Innovation and Improvement: Ability to drive innovation, process improvement, and adoption of best practices.
- Performance Metrics: Expertise in setting, tracking, and reporting on performance metrics, KPIs, and OKRs.
- Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Technical Communication: Ability to translate technical details into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
