We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Marketing Manager who will manage and elevate our client’s marketing efforts, including content creation, video production, and social media engagement. This is a versatile role that combines social media management, content creation, and SEO strategies to enhance brand visibility and foster customer engagement across various companies and subsidiaries.
As Social Media Marketing Manager, this individual will work closely with internal teams to create compelling and creative content for a variety of platforms, including social media, email marketing, advertisements, and websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that increases brand visibility, engagement, and leads across multiple companies.
- Manage daily social media activities across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Actively engage with clients, potential customers, and municipalities on social media to build relationships and foster positive brand recognition.
- Track and report on social media metrics and adjust strategies based on performance insights.
- Create and manage high-quality social media content, including posts, videos, images, and other multimedia assets.
- Use your creative skills to film, edit, and produce videos (including drone footage) for marketing and social media purposes.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
- Assist in updating website content to ensure it's aligned with current marketing campaigns and trends.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including crafting engaging content and analyzing performance metrics.
- Help implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility of websites and content on search engines.
- Work with the marketing team to optimize content for search engines and monitor website rankings.
- Work with internal teams to align social media marketing efforts with company goals and campaigns.
- Actively monitor and engage with industry trends, competitors, and community developments.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and local municipalities, through social media and other communication channels.
- Take over current outsourced marketing functions, including video production, social media management, and email marketing, and bring them in-house to save costs and improve consistency.
- Oversee the organization’s ad campaigns (radio, digital, etc.) and help optimize for ROI.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a related field. Freelancers with a broad background in social media and marketing are welcome to apply.
- Strong skills in video production and editing. Ability to film and edit videos (including drone footage) for multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques and basic knowledge of website optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), social media management tools, and email marketing platforms.
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating visually engaging content.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
