Responsibilities

As the Director of Strategic Finance, you will:

Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and manage complex financial models, integrate financial statements, and create capital structure assessments to support data-driven decision-making.

Cash Flow & Debt Management: Oversee cash flow forecasts and debt management strategies, ensuring compliance with loan covenants and optimal capital allocation.

Corporate Development: Evaluate growth opportunities, including M&A, joint ventures, and new business ventures, and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization to assess the financial implications of new business initiatives and operational strategies.

Insights for Leadership: Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to the CFO, CEO, Board of Directors, and shareholders.

Capital Structure Optimization: Partner with treasury, tax, and accounting teams to efficiently manage the organization's financial resources.

Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis to identify expansion opportunities, risks, and market trends, translating findings into actionable strategies.

Innovation & Technology: Leverage advanced analytics tools like Power BI to derive insights and automate financial processes, staying ahead in digital finance transformation.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is highly preferred.

15+ years of corporate finance experience, with a minimum of 7 years in management.

Expertise in corporate finance, treasury, and working capital management.

Experience of working in the Oil and Gas or Energy sectors.

A proven track record in delivering actionable insights and driving financial initiatives.

Advanced knowledge of financial systems, data analytics, and business intelligence tools.
