Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare loan documents for multiple states, including wet and dry states.
- Review Closing Disclosures (CDs) and Loan Estimates (LEs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Audit and balance settlement statements for funding.
- Review borrower applications, title reports, and closing statements for accuracy.
- Collaborate with processing, loan officers, and funding teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Draw loan documents for files that are audited and ready for issuance.
- Prepare and balance Closing Disclosures.
- Manage delivery of trailing documents to comply with investor requirements.
- Review title commitments.
- Verify all Prior-To-Closing and Prior-To-Documents conditions are met and signed off by the appropriate authority.
- Ensure compliance with TRID guidelines by reviewing initial and changed-circumstance Loan Estimates.
- Communicate effectively with relevant parties to prepare accurate Closing Disclosures.
- Monitor and resolve investor suspense items within required deadlines.
- Conduct thorough pre-closing reviews of each loan file for accuracy and data integrity.
- Closely examine all information on each loan file in LOS to ensure 100% data integrity prior to drawing documents.
- Update all fields and statuses in LOS necessary to generate accurate reports.
- Complete HMDA fields in LOS for compliance.
- Audit files in line for funding and ensure reconciliation upon investor purchase.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Assist the Department Manager and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage loan processes, TRID guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS) and related software.

BANK SECRECY ACT REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for adhering to the reporting and recordkeeping requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering rules and regulations, observing economic sanctions by prohibiting transactions as specified by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), following the bank's customer identification program (CIP) rules, observing all Bank policies and procedures relating to BSA, OFAC, CIP, and related acts, and participation in ongoing related training.
