Responsibilities
- Investigate and disposition production line build issues.
- Searches for problem root cause and develop corrective action plans and solutions.

- The successful candidate will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, working to optimize existing systems and develop innovative solutions for our production needs.

- Providing hands on input and insight into equipment installation and troubleshooting.
- Work with the production team to integrate packaged equipment into the overall manufacturing process.
- Develop automation solutions to optimize plant floor operations including process and material flow.
- Utilize Autodesk software to create detailed design plans and blueprints.
- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and lab.
- Lead and mentor machine operators and maintenance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Support and Lead mechanical design engineering activities in a particular area.
- Play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release.
- Design technical solutions according to given prerequisites (e.g., function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality target and regulations) in mechanical areas.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure that our manufacturing processes remain competitive.
- Participate in the business development and innovation.
Education/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with filling and packaging manufacturing equipment in our sector (or a related process manufacturing sector such as food, pharma, chemical, etc.) is a plus but not required.
- Extensive experience in process design and the design of mechanical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of machine guarding and safety practices and standards (OSHA, etc.)
- Experience or understanding of physics principles for heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics.
