Civil Superintendent - Construction (Heavy Civil)

Location: Miami, FL

Package: $90k-$125k (depending on experience)+ benefits

We Search People are working in partnership with one of the largest construction companies in Florida who specialize in large heavy civil projects - to identify an experienced Civil Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations at the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Supervise and manage construction workers, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Implement and maintain quality control programs to ensure work meets established standards.
• Ensure the construction site adheres to all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and timelines.

Education and/or Experience

• Proven experience in civil construction management, including earthwork, underground utilities, paving, and concrete structures.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction budgeting and scheduling best practices.
• Understanding of construction equipment and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
