Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Quality Engineering support both internal & external.
  • Primary customer contact.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform data collection & analysis.
  • Conduct root cause investigations.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions that address root cause investigation findings.
  • Review and authorize RMA's as required.
  • Facilitate or be an active participant in Continuous Improvement efforts (Kaizen Events).
  • Write Quality Alerts as required.
  • Generate Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP's).
  • Complete PPAP's as required.
  • Facilitate or be an active participant in MRB meetings.
  • Active participant in the APQP process.
  • Active participant in the FMEA (DFMEA / PFMEA) process.
  • Conduct Internal Audits as required.
  • Aid in Supplier selection & development.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance to the IATF 16949 standard.
  • Provide training as required.
  • Support calibration efforts.
  • Follow Company policies and procedures as defined in the IEP Employee Manual.
  • Follow all International Standards that apply to IEP's certification and QMS.
  • Follow Company Safety rules and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform duties outside of normal work hours as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education /Skills /Qualifications:

  • Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety.
  • Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Require 3 to 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Cooperative with ability to work individually or in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A self-starter who can perform in a self-directed manner.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PPT, & Word.
  • Should have good Initiative with drive for Continuous Improvement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $45.00 - $55.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
