Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team, working on various projects throughout the New York Tri-State area. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, inspection, and implementation of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Design Fire Alarm Systems: Develop comprehensive fire alarm system designs in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Pre-Inspections & Punch Lists: Conduct pre-inspections, identify necessary adjustments, and create punch lists to ensure fire alarm systems meet all code requirements before final inspections.
• Attend Inspections: Participate in final inspections with local authorities to ensure systems are compliant with fire codes and regulations.
• Client Meetings: Collaborate with clients to discuss project details, provide technical expertise, and ensure their requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compliance & Safety: Stay updated with the latest fire safety regulations and ensure all designs and installations adhere to local, state, and national fire codes.

Experience:

• Proven experience in fire alarm system design and installation.
• Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations in the New York Tri-State area.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience attending inspections and working with local fire departments is a plus.
