Location: Panama City Beach, FL and Pensacola

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Environmental Health and Safety related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of construction site safety management experience
• OSHA 30 and EM385 training
• Experience working on large projects in excess $10M range or higher.

Plusses:

• An in-depth knowledge of OSHA Regulations and EM385
• Recognized Safety Professional Certification (Examples: BCSP, CSP, CHST, ASP, GSP)
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to support large scale construction projects around the Panama City Beach and/or Pensacola, Florida areas. This role would support construction projects around $25 million. This individual will be responsible for performing job site inspections to identify, document and recommend mitigation of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions and verify correction actions have been completed.

• Performing incident investigations to include interviews, data compilation, photographs and completing proper documentation
• Evaluate various planning/permits such as: Hot Work, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation, Steel Erection, Energized Work, and Pre-cast Tilt-Ups.
• Responsible for working with stakeholders like subcontractors, clients and regulators so will need great verbal and written communication skills.
