We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager/Electrical to oversee and manage all maintenance operations within our client's facility. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functionality of the building and its systems across multiple shifts. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, driving peak performance, and ensuring operational excellence. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to maintain the facility's infrastructure, improve system efficiencies, and ensure safety and compliance across all operations.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians across multiple shifts to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintenance Management: Design, plan, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems within the facility.
- System Optimization: Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and control systems to ensure maximum operational uptime and efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence through process improvements, system upgrades, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance operations comply with industry safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Budget Management: Manage maintenance budget and resources, ensuring optimal use of materials, equipment, and staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance for tracking and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Experience with PLCs, automation, and control systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and other building infrastructure systems.
- Experience in preventive maintenance programs and root cause analysis.
Certifications:
- Electrical or Mechanical certifications (e.g., Journeyman, Master Electrician) preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Other:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
