The Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance operations, facilities, layout and machinery used to efficiently produce products with maximum output. This includes preventative maintenance and managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment with a strong background in industrial maintenance and facilities management, with expertise in managing maintenance teams and ensuring the optimal performance of all equipment and systems. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
- Leads and manages the maintenance team, ensuring all proactive and reactive maintenance service is completed efficiently and effectively
- Ensures the maintenance area is properly organized, staffed and directed
- Trains and mentors maintenance staff on best practices in industrial maintenance and safety protocols
- Oversees the facility maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and high voltage equipment
- Implements and manages a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, schedules, and inventory
- Conducts regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develops preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
- Ensures all technical processes in the plant are reliable, cost-effective and meet M+H and legal standards
- Leads local infrastructure projects, supported by Corporate Real Estate Management
- Applies advanced working knowledge and experience to independently improve maintenance techniques and operations
- Directs the purchase, organization, and the preparation of critical maintenance spare parts to ensure timely machine repair and to support preventative maintenance tasks
- Implements and manages continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting gaps and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes
- Plans required resources and budget for fulfilling maintenance tasks

Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Facilities Maintenance or other closely related fields; or equivalent related education and experience
- Min 5 years‘ working experience in maintenance in manufacturing industry
- Experience in Maintaining/Repairing/Improving Production Processes (e.g. pleating, welding, assembly)
- Experience working in Facility /Building; handling Electrical maintenance; Weld: (MIG / stick SMA)
- Familiar with HSE requirements in Production
- Lock out/Tag out experience preferred
- Must have your own basic tools
- Knowledge and understanding of current National Electrical Code (NEC), Journeyman Electrician License a plus
- Must possess problem solving skills to defined methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish a plus
- Must be a confident decision maker and capable of making decisions within time and information constraints
- Must be available for after hours and/or weekend support calls
- Ability to prioritize work in a high demand work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and root cause identification skills
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and able to motivate others
- Demonstrated results in manufacturing maintenance utilizing maintenance systems
- Must possess the ability to work on ladders or on aerial lifts
- Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
