The Judge Group is seeking a Power and Utilities Manager for a manufacturing company located in the Sylacauga, AL area.

Title: Power and Utilities Manager

Location: Sylacauga, AL

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities:

• Establishing the safety, quality, cost, and operating output of Power & Utilities Operating Plan.

• Achieving production goals, managing performance of direct reports, making sound operational decisions, and troubleshooting customer issues. This role is responsible for

• Day-to-day management of the department’s supervisory staff

• Mentoring all utilities’ team members on the daily operation and best practices.

• Evaluate, approve, and prioritize equipment repairs and scheduled shutdowns

• Coach and develop technicians to reliably operate equipment and processes working with area leaders from salary level to hourly level.

• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and customers to troubleshoot process, quality and equipment issues and evaluate and implement improvement ideas

• Lead improvements in Utilities process equipment and associated chemical systems.

• Develop, initiate, and execute capital projects with area leaders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, Engineering preferred

• 5+ years of experience leading a power/utilities team

• Experience in developing and executing capital projects.

• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
