Specializing in environmental litigation, permitting, and regulatory enforcement, the firm helps clients navigate complex NEPA, CEQA, and clean energy incentives. The firm is committed to supporting clients in renewable energy projects and environmental sustainability, while minimizing legal and environmental risks. Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Litigation: Represent clients in environmental litigation, providing expertise in handling complex environmental disputes and regulatory matters.
- Compliance Counseling: Advise clients on compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal laws.
- Permitting and Remediation: Assist clients in navigating permitting processes and addressing environmental remediation issues in various projects.
- Transactional Support: Conduct environmental due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, offering strategic advice on environmental considerations and risks.
- Regulatory Enforcement: Represent clients in regulatory enforcement actions, negotiating with regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with enforcement requirements.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in environmental law, with substantial exposure to litigation.
- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance, permitting, and remediation processes.
- Experience with transactional matters, including due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
